untitled post

I never meant to do it. I got carried away, then I panicked.

I don't know how they didn't find anything. I think it helped me, that thing, even after I refused.

But my mind feels clear. It didn't get me, or at least I don't feel like it did.

Yet I keep seeing it in my peripheral vision.

LOG 1

Things have been happening lately, things I can't explain.
Roads which I always used seemed to have disappeared.

Buildings I don't recognize block the pathways I walked – Nobody addresses it.

Everything has been going wrong since I've declined that offer.

LOG 2

I don't know what to do. I went to my shift today – I thought I'd finally lost it. I walked in there, and there it was.

It, or rather he, I still cannot tell. I thought I was hallucinating, yet his face looked the same. Eerily so, even in the only glance I could catch before my legs acted on their own.

Maybe it was the lack of sleep. Or whatever is going on with that damned franchise.

LOG 3

I sat down inside the office. It was quiet. He wasn't there. Most of my shift went by as calmly as it could, taking the animatronics into account.

Then I felt something against my neck. Cold and sharp. I couldn't bear to look back, but I saw the reflection in the monitors.

He was there, again. I felt a tug on my hair. Then he was staring at me – at my face. Something flickered behind his eyes and he abruptly pulled back. Before I could catch my breath, he was gone. I didn't even hear a sound.
