      Man Arrested on Murder Charges in Fatal Domestic Incident

A local man is in custody following a tragic domestic incident late 
Thursday night that left his wife and eldest son dead, according to 
the Police Department.

Authorities arrested ◆◆◆◆, 42, at the scene shortly after midnight on
Friday. ◆◆◆◆ faces two counts of first-degree murder and is currently
being held at the County Detention Center without bail,
pending an initial court appearance.

Officers responded to a 911 emergency call reporting loud screams and
noise at a residence on ◆◆◆◆ around 11:45 p.m. Friday. 
Upon arrival, officers made entry into the home and discovered the 
bodies of a 39-year-old woman and a 16-year-old male, 
both suffering from fatal injuries.

A second child, an 11-year-old boy, was found unharmed inside the 
residence. Emergency personnel evaluated the youth at the scene before 
placing him under the temporary custody of Child Protective Services. 
Officials confirmed Sunday morning that the surviving child 
has since been placed in the care of an immediate relative.

Court records indicate that ◆◆◆◆ has a documented criminal history 
involving domestic violence. He was previously arrested in ▬ on charges
of domestic battery following a disturbance at the same address, 
which resulted in a temporary protective order that later expired.
